A Fiduciary Difference
I provide a full range of financial planning services on an hourly basis including:
- Investment Advising
- Retirement Planning
- Insurance and Risk Management
- Personal and Business Tax Guidance and Preparation
- Estate Planning
- Budgeting and Cash Flow
Most financial planners provide these same services. What sets myself apart is the fee structure. 99% (plus or minus a few points) of advisors charge sales-based, commission, or AUM fees. These fees are often not in the best interest of the clients, and in some cases a direct conflict of interest. Based on my experience in working with clients, these fees do not correlate to the amount of work for the advisor and can decrease portfolio performance. Instead, I charge what nearly every other profession charges: fee for service based on an hourly or project rate. Being independent and not having custodial accounts, I can be as close to a true fiduciary as possible.
